One day. One band. One EP.
As a musician it's almost inevitable - you come up with a fun idea for a band, but you aren't able to dedicate time and energy into yet another full-fledged commitment. Enter the "one day band" concept. All music is written and recorded on the spot in an afternoon, with vocals added in one secondary session later on. Total writing, recording, and mixing/ mastering time is under 24 hours.
There's a revolving cast of members participating depending on the project, with members often exploring instruments and roles outside of their norm. This all takes place in the comfort and confines of my basement with somewhat makeshift gear and setups.
